Amritsar, Varanasi, Delhi, Jodhpur, Mumbai / Palaces, Temples & Forts

Elaborate stonework, soaring towers and roofs plated with gold; explore the architectural masterpieces of India’s palaces, temples and forts.

The birthplace of three of the world’s most practiced religions; every corner turned in India unearths a spectacle of spiritual construction. Delve into the Sikh culture during the ceremonious moving of their Holy Book as you sample the exquisite craftsmanship of the Golden Temple ensconced within azure waters, before walking the line of mortality upon the banks of the river Ganges in the most sacred city in Hinduism, Varanasi.

Briefly encounter the tranquil home of Buddhism followed by the bustling streets of Delhi where colonial meets contemporary and towering skyscrapers share the city with ancient forts and palaces. Atop a plateau, count the indigo houses scattered below the Mehrangarh Fort overlooking the Blue City of Jodhpur shortly before flying west to explore Mumbai; where the city's opposing façades emerge on an eye opening tour illuminating the humbling contrast between the glamorous scene of Bollywood and the modest living within India’s largest slum, Dharavi.
