Newcomers to our portfolio

Corfu, Greece / The Olivar Suites

In a nutshell: An 18th century olive press is at the centre of this Greek village fantasy, where suites more akin to bungalows cleverly placed along serpentine pathways create a Corfiot hamlet feel.

Why come here: While it doesn’t bear the “adults-only” tag, it has that kind of atmosphere, elevated by the boutique-esque charms and rural authenticity that come with a family-owned property like this.

Not to be missed: The pocket-rocket spa does particularly well at the feeling of solitude, with staff doing an impeccable job of making guests feel like they are the only ones there.

TAKE ME THERE

Corfu, Greece / Grecotel Corfu Imperial

In a nutshell: While the manicured gardens and porcelain walkways bring Italian lakes grandeur to Corfu’s coast, the informal and personal service is still very much Greek in nature.

Why come here: A place this pretty needs to be shared, so couples wander the walkways alongside families. But everyone is equally spoilt, with cooking classes, yacht tours and no less than three beaches.

Not to be missed: Owned by the Grecotel brand, Danilia village – where features like ‘The Durrells’ and ‘Four Your Eyes Only’ were filmed – opens its cobbled streets to a private tour and dinner as the sun sets.

TAKE ME THERE

Riviera Maya, Mexico / Chablé Maroma

In a nutshell: Everything’s been given the organic treatment and Mexico’s ancient ways are celebrated to the fullest in this beachside boutique hiding in plain sight in Riviera Maya.

Why come here: Located on one of the Riviera’s best stretches of sand, Chablé Maroma is a world away from the clamour of Tulum, enticing the people who like a side of paradise with their escapades.

Not to be missed: Maroma's little black book of secrets, revealing some under-the-radar spots that are often bypassed by the tourist crowd.

Corfu, Greece / Ikos Odisia

In a nutshell: Ikos Resorts have a habit of making luxuries seem limitless especially when it comes to reinventing the luxury all-inclusive beach escape. Their second foray, Ikos Odisia debuts May 2023 and is already causing a stir of the island of Corfu.

Why come here: With an “infinite lifestyle” ethos, everyone is encouraged to live the Ikos way, which means no restrictions when it comes to wants and desires and nothing is hidden behind the effortlessly sleek exteriors, Michelin-starred cuisine and warm-smiled service.

Not to be missed: A friendly nudge out the door to experience the surroundings is provided in the form of a complimentary self-driven local adventure. Armed with a cultural pass, visit historical landmarks and museums, stopping for authentic Greek hospitality in a selected local restaurant - part of the resorts’ Dine Out Service.

Singapore Sidecar / The Real Singapore

You haven’t discovered the real gems of Singapore until you’ve seen it from the different perspective of travelling in a lovingly restored vintage Vespa sidecar. And, that’s just what Dee, our Touring Product Manager, experienced on a recent trip to Singapore.

Once a side-line hobby and now a thriving social enterprise business channelling profits and resources to support local causes, Singapore Sidecars whisked Dee through the less travelled narrow streets of Haji Lane in Kampong Glam, a conservation enclave packed with ornate architecture, colourful artistic murals, retro collector boutiques and plenty of insta-worthy photo opportunities. Along the way she visited storyteller shophouses meeting locals who are well-known for the neighbourhood’s scents, textiles and local delicacies.

Sidecar rides can be tailored to individual interests exploring other heritage districts including Little India and Chinatown.
